Follow Me!
Jesus walks up to 4 people making their living in a traditional fashion and tells them to “Follow Me.” They immediately drop their nets, and follow Jesus with their lives. How many of us can say we have done the same thing when Jesus has called to us in our own lives?
At our baptism, we recognize Jesus’ call to follow him through God’s grace being extended to us in the life giving waters. Yet, have we really considered what it means to follow Jesus?
Whether you have heard it in your life or not, I assure you that God is calling you to follow. If you are someone who is seeking how to follow Jesus more closely, someone who finds themselves lost, or someone who has never considered the possibility that God might be calling you by name, then I encourage you to come and worship with us tomorrow at 10:30 am in North Charleston or on YouTube as we hear once again Jesus’ call to each and every one of us to follow him!
